What services does HCG CPA + Advisory offer?
We are a full service CPA firm that provides Tax Preparation, Tax Planning, Bookkeeping, Payroll and Advisory to Individual and Business clients.
What is Advisory?
Simply put, Advisory is proactive questions. The traditional approach to accounting is firms do what clients ask them to do. With Advisory, we reverse that and provide questions and guidance before you need it.
How much do your services cost?
We charge a mixture of per item, hourly and flat fees depending on what you need. We quote everything up front so you never get a surprise bill.
We provide written quotes and agreements so everyone knows who is responsible for what and when.
Do you work with businesses in my industry?
We have a few industries we specialize in, but we work with anyone who needs help. If you grow it, build it, fix it, sell it or just talk about it, we can help.
We work with farmers, manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, online or brick and moter, service industries and everything else.
Do you only work with clients in Fort Wayne?
No.
We have made substantial investments in our firm to be able to work with any client no matter where they are. We also are able to work anywhere in the world (and we have) if needed.
When should I contact you about my taxes?
Now.
A tax return is the end-result of a well planned year, not the start of a conversation. Planning happens year-round, so the sooner we can talk, the more we can help.
Why should I pick a small firm over a large firm?
10 years ago the gap between the national firms and locally owned was massive and if you were a larger business you really did need those big firms. The reality is today, small firms have access to all the same resources the big firms have, with the big difference being we have little to no middle management to slow things down.
